I've pulled together a few of my favourite crepe papers to use for paper flower making.
These crepe papers are all available within Canada.
You may also find more selection, and better pricing available from the
USA, which I've listed on
this page too, but be sure to allow for the extra shipping and duty charges.
HEAVY CREPE PAPER:
Heavy crepe is great to use if you're looking for a more durable paper flower, and especially if you're planning to ship them once they're made. It's also a little more forgiving when you're first getting started with paper flower making!
I love to use heavyweight German crepe paper for my paper flowers, here are a few of my favourites!
These multipacks are the best value for money, and provide you with a ready made colour palette of complimentary shades:

EXTRA FINE CREPE PAPER:
Extra fine crepe is great for if you're looking to make more delicate flowers, or anything that doesn't need to be shipped. Extra fine crepe paper will create a very natural and thin petal, so it's great if you're looking for very realistic paper flowers. It can be quite flimsy and easy to tear, so take more care when working with this crepe paper.
Again, the best value for money is to choose one of these multipacks:

But extra fine crepe paper is also available by the roll in these colours:
DOUBLE SIDED CREPE PAPER:
Double sided crepe paper is very similar to the extra fine, but as the name suggests, it has a different colour on either side. It's great to use if you want a darker or lighter colour to the underside of your petals, but you don't want to add any additional thickness to your paper blooms.
