Learn how to make crepe paper flowers with this paper sunflower tutorial and templates. Includes 2 paper sunflower templates.

Skill Level - Intermediate + Advanced

This paper flower template is suitable for intermediate and advanced paper florists.

The sunflower has several important steps to get the centre to look right, so I would recommend starting with some easier flowers first if you are new to paper flower making.

Heavyweight German crepe paper - I'm using Lia Griffith Nectarine, Amber, Gold, Juniper, and Onyx
Scrap crepe paper in any colour
Floral wire, paper or cloth covered - 16 or 18 gauge x 1, 22 or 24 gauge x 2
Tacky glue
Small pot and cocktail stick (optional)
Ruler or measuring tape
Scissors
Pliers
Mod Podge - matte or glossy
Mop brush
Pan Pastels in Burnt Sienna and Yellow Ochre
Sponge
