Eucalyptus has been one of the most popular foliage stems for many years now, and for good reason. It compliments almost any bloom, but also looks equally amazing as just a bunch of foliage stems.

This paper flower template is suitable for beginners and experienced paper florists alike.

Time

1 - 2 hours (excluding dry time)

I highly recommend you colour your paper with alcohol inks and pan pastels. However this does mean you need to allow for drying time between stages.

As an experienced paper florist I can make this stem in around 25 minutes (excluding dry time). When you're first starting out I would allow extra time to get the hang of things.

Heavyweight German or Italian 140g crepe paper - (I used white and then used alcohol inks to create the green colour)
Floral tape - dark brown
Floral wire, paper or cloth covered - 1 x 18 gauge
Tacky glue
Small pot and cocktail stick (optional)

Pan Pastels in Bright Yellow Green Extra Dark

Finished size of the leaves is approx. 1 1/2" diameter.

Trim the wire to whatever height you need. The portion with leaves on is approx. 10" tall.
