This paper flower template is suitable for intermediate and advanced paper florists.

The coral charm peony has some details that make it a little more time consuming to make, so I would recommend starting with some easier flowers first if you are new to paper flower making.

Time

2 - 4 hours

I highly recommend you colour your flower with alcohol markers and acrylic paints. However this does mean you need to allow for drying time between stages, and the colouring steps can take some time.

As an experienced paper florist I can make this flower in around 2 hours (excluding dry time). When you're first starting out I would allow extra time to get the hang of things.

Heavyweight German crepe paper or Italian 140g in white, green, and blush
Floral wire, paper or cloth covered - 1 x 16 gauge, 12 x 22 gauge cut to 6" long
Tacky glue
Small pot and cocktail stick (optional)
Scissors
Pliers
Mod Podge Gloss
Alcohol markers - light yellow, mustard yellow, dark red, dark pink, light brown/beige, brown
Acrylic paint in red, white, yellow, and green
Artists paintbrush
Jar and Paint palette/plate
