This paper flower template is suitable for beginners and experienced paper florists alike.

30 mins - 2 hours (excluding dry time)
You can speed up the making time for this flower by using stock crepe paper colours. If you choose to dye the crepe paper, as I did in this tutorial, allow 15 minutes extra making time, plus dry time.
As an experienced paper florist I can make this flower in 30 minutes (or less if I'm working in batches). When you're first starting out I would allow extra time to get the hang of things, typically around 2 hours per flower.

- Crepe Paper - Heavyweight German or 140g Italian in petal colour and green
- Floral tape - to match leaf colour
- Floral wire, paper or cloth covered - 1 x 16 gauge, 1 x 20 or 22 gauge
- Tacky glue
- Small pot and cocktail stick (optional)
- Scissors
- Pliers
- Mod podge (matte)
- Mop Brush
Optional - Colouring:
- Pan Pastels
- Sponge or Sofft Tool
- Alcohol Inks
